Pastor and Leaders

I am sixty-five years old. I am married to the former Rubifaye B. Beaty of Speake, Alabama. We have been married for 40 years. We have three grown children, and ten grandchildren. My education background is: i). Associate of Science in General Education from Calhoun Jr. College; 2). Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Athens Stae University; 3). Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary; and, 4). The Doctor of Ministry in Conflict Resolution from Trinity Theological Seminary and College of the Bible.

I have been a United Methodist pastor for thirty-seven years, and served at Courtland Downs Mission Baptist Church for one and a half years before that.  I was Liscensed to preach in 1983; Ordained a Deacon in 1987; and, was Ordained Elder in 1991. I am an evangelical with strongly held traditional beliefs. God bless you. We pray that you will come and visit us and be blessed when you do. 

Aldersgate UMC welcomes Bro. Johnny and his wife Kay back to the church. JJ has come on board as our worship pastor, effective May 1st 2018. Brother Johnny is doing a remarkable job here.
